No. Comploa is not the Bureau of Indian Standards, the Central Pollution Control Board, the Legal Metrology department, the Department of Telecommunications, the WPC Wing, TEC, BEE, DGFT, Customs or any other authority, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them. Comploa issues no licence, registration or certificate, and has no power to speed up or influence any decision. Logos, marks and scheme names belong to the bodies that own them.
Is this legal advice?
No. Pages explain official rules in plain language and link to the documents they come from. They are general information, not legal, regulatory, customs or tax advice for your specific product. Rules change, and how they apply depends on the exact model, its specifications, its HS classification and where it is made. The decision of the competent authority always prevails. How reliable are the facts?
Every fact is checked against its official source and labelled by source type, as described in our editorial policy. Facts labelled Reported or Estimate are not from an official document and are flagged as such. Private charges, such as lab or consultant fees, are typical ranges, not quotes. Despite our checks, a page can be wrong or out of date, especially just after a rule changes. Always check the linked source before acting.
What about the tools and calculators?
The free tools apply the facts we hold to the inputs you give them. Their results are indicative. Official fees are set by the authority, and GST, bank charges and private costs are added on top as each tool explains.
How do partner introductions work?
